Mighty Armies Preview: Gnomes!

The gnomes that Adam (Wiff Waff) did up have been a lot of fun to work with, paint, and plan armies around.  I think this will be a fun little army to play with some neat add-on's available.

The core army will have a general, wizard, 2 mushroom herds, 2 slinger units, and 4 warrior units.

Mighty Armies Wave 1 Preview 2

Next up for the Mighty Armies sets are the Dark Elves.  I will eventually have two boxed set for these but initially, will just offer the basic army.

First, the boxed set will include a general, a sorceress, a giant dragonman, crossbows x2, heavy swords x2, and warriors x4.

The first blister option will be for the raptor cavalry.  Each blister will have enough for 2 stands of cavalry.

 Finally, the second blister will offer a different general option in the form of a mounted command.

Mighty Armies Wave 1 Bear Clan Army

Over the last few months, I have been chatting with Mike from Rebel Minis about working together on putting out some new armies for Mighty Armies.  I will be releasing a lot of armies over the coming months and the first wave will have four armies.  The first of those armies is the bear clan.  In playtesting this army, I had a lot of fun and am looking forward to trying it out with some of the special units.

The boxed set contains 11 units: the general, the shamaness, bearmen, 4 warriors units, 2 archers, and 2 skirmishers.

New Greens from Faron Betchley

In the midst of gearing up for Cold Wars in early March, I was pleased to see an email with some pictures of new wood elf and woodland greens Faron recently completed.  I am hoping to have these ready in some form or fashion for Cold Wars but we will see how that goes.
