New Greens and New Range

Just wanted to post a few pictures of the new Wood Elf range Faron Betchley is doing for me as well as some animal mounts he has finished.

First, Faron did up what looks to be a great and unique looking treeman and a wood troll.  We are planning to do a couple more wood troll poses.  There are some wood elves next to them as size comparison.

Next, are six Wood Elf archers.  

Then we have some Wood Elf swords

Finally, are the raptor and sabertooths, which will work on their own or as mounts.  I think the hyena riders will look particularly good on them, though we will be doing various barbarian riders to go with them as well.

In the next blog, I will unveil our other new range, the dwarves!

New Releases for October

Greetings, all.  After several months of hoping, the newest Splintered Light packs have arrived!!  I am very excited about this round of releases and wanted to let you know about them.  The website is not updated yet but if you want to order them, just let me know what you want from the new list or the older packs and I can send you a paypal invoice.  Also, I am offering free shipping for all orders over $50 for the month of October.  I will be updating the paypal cart to reflect this later tonight.

UNDE33 Skeleton Battlewagon $15--no pictures yet but the kit comes with a chassey, 4 skeleton horses, 2 cars, 2 sides, 1 bolt thrower with crew, a skeleton mammoth head, a skeleton rhino head, a skeletal giant ribcage, 2 sets of skeleton pushers, 1 skeleton spearmen, and 2 skeleton archers.  This kit gives a lot of options for rams and battlewagons.

UNDE40 Human Necromancers (6) $6  This is a fun pack with 2 tribal necromancers/shamans, a priestess, and 3 male necromancers.  sculpted by Faron Betchley.

UNDE41 Undead Necromancers (6) $6  This pack had a 2 ghouls (love the fat boy!), 2 wraiths, a mummy priestess, and a lich. sculpted by Faron Betchley.

PICT16 Bare-chested Pict Warriors (12) $8   2 axe, 2 sword, and 2 spear poses.  These are great for adding some new poses and a fierce look to your Pict army. sculpted by Rod Campbell

IRISH11 2-h Axemen (12) $8   3 poses to give players some Dark Age options. sculpted by Rod Campbell

SAXO14 Saxon Cavalry (6) $8  I have added these since FOG allows for Saxon cavalry.  Also, there seems to be a lot of debate and a growing consensus that the Early Saxons did, in fact, use cavalry. sculpted by Rod Campbell

The Druid's Children Faithful forces have received new reinforcements and animal types in the form of beavers, frogs, and armadillos.  Each pack comes with 6 figures and costs $6 and were sculpted by Bob Olley

The Druid's Children: The Rebels have also received new troops types--Possum Warriors and Skunk Warriors.  Each pack has 6 figures and costs $6.

DAEL06 Dark Elf Polearms (12) $8.  The dark elves get a new infantry unit in the form of Dark Elf Polearms.  Sculpted by Ben Siens

We also have 2 new animal packs with the addition of bears and ostriches.  The bears are normal size versions of MISC12, which are the giant cave bears.  These will eventually be mounts for the riders of SAXO14 as part of our Bear Clan line.  The bears will be 6 for $9 and the ostriches will be 6 for $6.  sculpted by Faron Betchley.

Finally, we have the savage orc command.  Sculpted by Ben Siens, these brutes really look great painted up with the other savage orc warriors.  6 figures for $5.
