New Packs Available

Alright, alright, alright.  I finally have some new packs up.  The majority are adding to the 15mm dwarf line, but I also have two new elf packs, 2 new animal/beast packs, and 1 new bear clan pack

First, the dwarves.  I have a bunch of new packs here, including artillery, infantry, and cavalry.

Next, are two new wood elf packs.  Both are female wood elves--one set is an infantry pack with 2 sword, 2 spear, and 2 bow poses and the other set is 1 sword and 1 bow pose cavalry.  I have them riding unicorns but am happy to substitute horses for those who want them.  I can also sell them with elk for $12 if people are interested in matching them with the male riders.

Next is the bear clan cavalry.  I have a picture of them riding bears but for those who want the Wendel from 13th Warrior, I have them mounted on horses but need to paint some up to show.

Finally, we have two new packs of animals.  First, are some unicorns, and second are a pack of rams.

Today's offering is three pictures of painted centaurs.  These were previewed as greens but I thought people might enjoy seeing them painted.  I am hoping to have these ready at the end of the month.  There are three packs: centaur command with a leader, 2 heroes, a druid, a standard, and a musician; a warrior pack with 2 spear poses and 1 club pose; and an archer pack.  As can be seen, there are three female poses so hopefully that will prove interesting and useful for folks.  Thanks for looking.

Today I want to showcase the first three packs of ratmen from Ben Siens.  These packs are the command pack, warrior pack, and slinger pack.  Ben is working on a set of four personalities at the moment and there will be some specialty packs coming soon as well.

15mm Fantasy Gladiator Preview

One of the really fantastic things about opening a miniature company is getting to meet and work with some fantastic people involved in every part of the hobby.  One of those people is Ed from Two Hour Wargames.  I have played in a lot of his con games, and they are always a lot of fun and filled with much laughter.  After spending an evening playing his gladiator game at Cold Wars 2011, I was thrilled when he emailed me to let me know about a fantasy gladiator set he was working on.  Ed and I have been communicating back and forth, and I am working on a few boxed sets to put out along with his release of the ruleset.  You can see more info on the ruleset here http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=261062 .

A lot of the figures for the boxed sets are going to come from other packs I have but here are some specifically sculpted for this set.

In the first picture, we have four sculpts by Faron Betchley.  From left to right are a troll with trident and net.  Faron did a great job getting the ropey feel of a troll.  Next, a snakeman with trident and net attached to tail.  Third, is a great orc or ogre, and finally, is the minotaur.

In the second picture, we have a gargoyle sculpted by Faron Betchley as well as a hyena hero and crocodile gladiator, both sculpted by Rodrick Campbell.  Be looking for the game and figure release in April or May.

New Race: The Sons of Horus

Several years ago Rodrick Campbell of Highlander Studios showed me a green he had done of a hawk-headed Egyptian archer.  I loved it and we began planning to do an army of them.  Several other projects with Rod later, here are the first several packs for you to see.

First, is the command, which consists of a leader, standard, musician and priestess.

Second, is the warrior pack with 2 spear poses and 2 sword poses.

Third, is the archer pack.

Fourth, is the guard pack.

Fifth, is the first of four gryphon poses.  I am really excited about these as there will be a pack of wingless gryphons, a chariot pulled by these fellows with harnesses added, and a pack of griffins with wings.  The gryphon pack will have 2 handlers, one of which will also be the charioteer for the chariot pack.

This should be a really fun army and hopefully the first of several Egyptian themed fantasy armies.  Though not a huge line, it will be perfect for Mighty Armies as well as a mercenary or allied force in the world of Pride of Lions.

Following up on yesterday's post, here is a look at the two new wood elf packs.

Finally, a post!  Not sure where the first two and a half months of 2012 went but they have been good, if not busy.  I am hoping to have a bunch of updates over the next week as I have a lot of exciting things to show.

First up are some faun greens I received pictures of from Faron Betchley today.  He has been doing fantastic work on the wood elf and woodland lines as well as other projects I will be debuting soon.
