Happy Thanksgiving! As I wait for cinnamon rolls to heat up and coffee to brew, I thought I would post some pictures of new figures coming soon. The sculptors have been very busy and the production molds are in the process of being done now, so hopefully, will be ready by Christmas or even earlier.
We will be starting a sale tomorrow (Friday after Thanksgiving), which will run through the end of December 31, 2010. All items will be 20% off with the exception of buildings and SPACE01 and SPACE02. Just email me at splinteredlightminis@earthlink.net with what you want and I can send a paypal invoice. Alternately, just place the order via the web shop and I will refund you 20%. Either way works for me.
First up are some new dwarves I will have coming out. I have 6 packs ready thus far and they were sculpted by Wiff Waff. He also did some gnomes and cave imps that I purchased but these dwarves are the start of what I think will be a very fun range. They are true 15's and size up well with the dark dwarves I have. I have lots of packs planned for this range and the personalities will give a sense of a few upcoming packs, though there are loads more in the works.

Next, are the Bear Clan warriors, sculpted by Rodrick Campbell. I am planning to use the Early Saxons for the grunt troops and will have the SAXO14 cavalry riding on bears as an option under their section in the webstore. These would also work well as the Wendel from
The 13th Warrior. These will also work very well with the Bearmen Rodrick Campbell did for me

Next, are some reinforcements for the Wyldewood Confederation, including halflings, a treeman, and wood elves. I only have the halfling infantry and treeman painted up now but do have halfling cavalry and wood elves coming soon.

Next, we have some dark elves and new orc/goblin cavalry. I painted up some of the new wood elves, sculpted by Faron Betchley, to be lighter infantry for the dark elves. The dark elf cavalry has proven very popular and so Ben Siens did a great job on the command and the new goblin cavalry on dire hyenas.

Finally, we have the new Archer Collection piece for 2011--Young Conan and 2 wolves. These were sculpted by Rodrick Campbell and the wolves will also be available in a new MISC pack we will be doing. I tried out a goblin rider from above on the wolves and I think they will work well together as well.

Thanks for looking and I will have washed unpainted versions of all the new packs up to show this weekend.

Wow! There's a lot of exciting things coming up at Splintered Light! I can't wait for the Dwarves and the Elves.
Those great! Especially the halflings and elves. Can't wait.
Thanks! I am excited to see more elves coming myself. Faron has done a fantastic job on the first few.
Rod's stuff, including the halflings, are always well done.
